Glass

The glass used in our conservatory roofs is Pilkington 'K' glass or low emissitivity (low e).

We also have a lot of call for our new product, Pilkington Activ Blue. Pilkington Activ Blue is a high performance self cleaning glass which has a slight blue tint to stop sun glare. It's solar control properties give a U-Value of 1.3 combined with 59% solar heat reflection makes this product one of the best.

At the top end of our glass range we have Pilkington Active Blue Plus. With light transmission at 49% and solar heat reflection at 59% its properties are very similar but with Pilkington Activ Blue Plus its argon filled units make this glass' U-Value an amazing 1.1
